Niacinamide
Niacinamide (5%) is a form of Vitamin B3 and is used extensively in skin care. Niacinamide can help build proteins in the skin and lock in moisture to prevent environmental damage. Niacinamide leads to an increase in keratin synthesis, has a stimulating effect on ceramide synthesis and speeds up the differentiation of keratinocytes. In ageing skin, topical application of niacinamide improves the surface structure, smooths out wrinkles and inhibits UV induced damage. Kojic Acid (1%) is a skin lightening/brightening ingredient derived from mushrooms. Inhibits an enzyme necessary in the production of melanin, helping to fade dark spots and discoloration. It also delivers some antioxidant protection.

3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid
3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid is a skin lightening/brightening ingredient that is a form of Vitamin C engineered to have better stability in water and is less irritating than L-Ascorbic Acid. A multi-tasking molecule, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid helps brighten the skin and even skin tone, boosts collagen production and acts as an antioxidant.

Salicylic Acid
Salicylic Acid is a beta-hydroxy acid that penetrates the skin hair follicles promoting exfoliation of dead skin cells and clearing pores. It helps fade dark spots and other signs of hyperpigmentation by exfoliating the outer layer of dead skin cells.
